Legal
Terms.
The plain-language terms governing the Voiacast Mac app, this website, and your license.
License
Voiacast is paid software. A license grants the named licensee a non-transferable right to install and use the Voiacast Mac app on the Macs they own or use. The Free tier is licensed under the same terms with the feature set documented on the pricing page.
Early-adopter pricing
The first 100 supporters can buy a license at €20 instead of €50. Once the early-adopter period ends, the price returns to €50; existing licenses continue to work and to receive free updates.
Payments and refunds
Payments go through PayPal under PayPal’s terms. If something goes wrong with a payment, get in touch via Contact within 30 days of purchase and we’ll work with you to make it right — including a refund if your case warrants one.
Acceptable use
Voiacast is for personal and professional dictation. Don’t use it to record people who haven’t agreed to be recorded, and follow the laws about audio recording in your country and workplace.
Warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.
Liability
In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use of the software.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always at voiacast.com/legal/terms. Material changes that affect existing licenses will be announced in the changelog.
